In the attached photo of the landscape, analyze the characteristics between Stream 1 and Stream 2.

And list out the your observations:

1. Draw profiles along A-B-C and along D-E-F.
        a. Estimate the valley slope for Stream 1 and Stream 2 along the drawn profiles
        b. Compare valley patterns along the drawn profiles

2. Trace the course of stream 1 and stream 2
        a. Compare the sinuosity of the curves obtained
        b. Access the degree of matching between two curves traced out

3. From your answers to Qn 1 and Qn 2, what would you deduct about the growth stages of Stream 1 and Stream 2

4. Draw a line along X-B-L-E. What part of a drainage basin would it represent?

5. What do you observe at Y1 and Y2 located in the given streams?

6. Do you consider that the landscapes at Y1 and Y2 are similar and formed under similar conditions? Substantiate your observation.

7. There exhibit a rough co-linearity  between the sub-stream segments D- Stream 1, Stream 1 - L, L - Stream 2 and Stream 2- C. What reasons would you suggest for the development of co-linearity?

8. By what geological term do you express the fast head ward erosion towards X from Stream 1 and Stream 2?

9. Which stream towards X shows more erosive power?

10. Name the geographical unit that could finally result due to intensive head ward erosion at X?

After analyzing the photo , post your answers for the above 10 questions in subsequent response windows

ALL THE BEST  smile
